About Us
The greenity community idea came about during a good old chat which we were having in the pub one night (where else!).
We were discussing realistic ways of making a personal positive impact on the environment and became frustrated by the restrictive knowledge that the three of us combined in that area.
We thought that there had to be an internet ressource where people (individuals or businesses) could ask questions about sustainability and exchange tips with other well intentioned & like minded folks.
Back on our computers we searched for such a website but could not find any which responded to our specific and yet basic need ( by then we had wasted a fair amount of time already trying to find valuable information).
We soon reached the consensus that if it did not exist it then had to be created!
One month later Jonas and Francois were both cursing that first day we decided to commit ourselves to creating such a support platform from scratch.
We have since received the extremely valuable assistance from a few very knowledgeable guys who were enthused by the concept and we are hoping to keep growing Greenity in the same organic viral fashion!

Olivier studied a Bsc in Marketing at Lancaster University Management School followed by a Msc in Marketing Practice at the Smurfit Graduate School of Business in Ireland.
By the end of his studies he had realised his inadequacy for the workplace and decided to go and explore the business eco opportunities that India had to offer for six months.
He came back to Ireland in love with the human kind and nature and decided with his partner to make a positive impact on their environment. |
François de Halleux

In love with nature since his early childhood, he is also passionate about photography, traveling and the internet.
When he graduated as a management engineer, he decided to move to Dublin where he still lives and work for Google.
Dublin is also the place that brought him to that pub where Greenity's idea was born: a project combining his deepest passion (nature and the environment) with his knowledge about the internet could only get him really excited! |

David Rochat

David has mainly been dealing with managing electric and electronic waste in India, where he spent the past 3 years of his life. The experience gathered there brought him to manage similar projects in a selection of African countries today.
Recently returned to Switzerland, he has founded his own company with a few colleagues, where they try to implement industrial ecology. Did you know that the industrial system mankind has build is simply a particular form of ecosystem? His job is to try to convince you, and show you how your company can fit into the environment.. |
Olivier Vuillemin

Olivier cumulates 8 years experience as a business developer specialized in
innovation management. He currently advises several start-ups and is
co-founder and CEO of Sensino Limited (Medtech) in Ireland and Kébon SA
(Sustainability) active in Switzerland and Morocco.
Olivier is an avid traveler and has a passion for entrepreneurship, integral
theories and eco-systems.
